Elementary School Assistant Principal

* Masters degree or higher with appropriate certification or licensure to serve as an Elementary Assistant Principal.

* Prior successful public elementary school teaching and/or administrative experience.

* Scholarly competence in the structure and content of elementary school level subject areas.

* Knowledge of current educational trends, including technology.

* Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of research-based techniques of instruction.

* Ability to develop and administer elementary school curricular programs of quality.

* Knowledge of Ohio Revised Code and Mentor Exempted Village Board of Education policies and guidelines regarding student conduct and student rights.

* Skill in recognition and generation of creative abilities in others.

* Skill and experience in educational leadership.
