Position: NDT Supervisor (Nondestructive testing)

Overview

Component Repair Technologies Inc. (CRT) is an FAA certificated repair station specializing in gas turbine engine component repairs for air, land, and sea. We are a Safran Aircraft Engines company Center of Excellence for the repair of large jet engine parts in the Americas.

Providing precision turbine engine component inspection, repair and overhaul services for the world’s leading turbine engine manufactures and major airlines since 1985.

Responsibilities

We are adding a level of leadership onto our NDT team on 2nd shift, due to expansion.

The NDT Supervisor (Fluorescent Penetrant Testing, Fluorescent Penetrant Processing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Eddy-Current Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Wet Etch and X-Ray) will lead a highly experienced team in the disciplines of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). This position is responsible for the requirements of the NDT Department during the assigned shift. The NDT Supervisor will ensure that the scheduled work is executed safely and in a systematic manner so that qualified technicians can perform the assigned tasks.

This position will monitor the completion of work while confirming the quality standards are being met.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory or similar type responsibility.
  • Technical competencies and familiarity in NDT procedures with inspection experience preferred.
  • The ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions accurately, including reading and interpretation of shop drawings.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, motivate team members, and multitask daily.
  • Shown a previous ability to successfully pass skill level tests in other trades or disciplines.
