Water​/Wastewater Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Assist Project Managers with engineering design for water and wastewater facilities requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks
• Perform technical engineering work associated with water and wastewater engineering including:
  
  - Prepare engineering reports and feasibility studies
  - Prepare engineering-related calculations and visual aids
  - Develop hydraulic models and perform engineering analysis
  - Participate in field investigations
  - Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections
  - Complete various permitting applications
  - Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, and contractors
  - Provide construction administration of water and wastewater projects
  - Some mentoring and delegation of work tasks to junior staff

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET‑accredited institution in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in water/wastewater or other related field
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
• 3+ years of experience in water & wastewater or related civil engineering projects including design, analyses, and studies
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
• Familiarity with computer models for hydraulic system analysis
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

The starting salary for this position is $80,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
