Senior Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Location:
Flexible across Ohio offices (hybrid)
- Lead with impact – Own high-visibility infrastructure projects from concept through construction

- Collaborative culture – Work alongside multidisciplinary teams who genuinely enjoy solving challenges together
- Take the lead on planning and designing water, wastewater, treatment, distribution, and collection system projects
- Drive project success by managing scope, schedule, and budgets
- Prepare and oversee development of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering and technical staff
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Partner with CAD teams to bring designs to life
- Interface with regulatory agencies and navigate permitting requirements
- Support business development efforts, including proposals and client pursuits
- Build lasting relationships with municipal and private sector clients
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in water/wastewater design and project leadership
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio
- Experience working with municipal and/or private clients
- Knowledge of funding programs and project financing (state/federal)
- Strong understanding of permitting and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work
- Deep technical expertise and a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges
Salary Range:
The starting salary for this position is $110,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
