Job Overview:
We are looking for Mechanical Engineer and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing aerospace technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support mechanical systems, testing initiatives, and hydraulic applications in our R&D Test Lab. Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to enhance lab capabilities, conduct critical development and certification testing, and contribute to innovative aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:
" Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects.
" Design pressure, flow, and spray test stands and upgrades, focusing on improved automation using control valves and pressure & flow sensors.
" Develop and improve test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency.
" Assist calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability.
" Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed.
" Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
" Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment.
" Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
" Hands-On

Skills:

Experience in mechanical systems design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
" Communication:
Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with precise scientific documentation abilities.
" Interpersonal

Skills:

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
" Travel:
Willingness to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
" Master s/Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
"

Experience with mechatronics/automation; test instrumentation and data acquisition, solder/fabrication equipment.
" Programming/analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, and/or ANSYS.
