Process Engineer

Consolidated Precision Products is seeking a Process Engineer to support our Aerospace & Defense components within the Engineering & Design department. You will develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for complex precision parts, ensuring repeatable quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with rigorous customer and defense standards. Responsibilities include process mapping, tooling design input, PFMEA, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace & defense components
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control plans
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for process nonconformances
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma tools to reduce waste, improve yield, and lower cost
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams on new product introductions
• Support tooling and fixture design requirements for manufacturability and repeatability
• Monitor process performance using SPC and other data-driven methods
• Ensure compliance with customer, AS9100, and relevant defense standards
• Drive continuous improvement projects across assigned production lines
• Provide technical support and training to production teams on new or revised processes
