Customer Service Rep
Position Summary
As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service, remain flexible to the needs of the business, maintain inventory levels and control shrinkage.
- Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs. Follow recipe measurement instructions, work with a variety of products, decorate bags, tips, nozzles, create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance and inventory management. Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training and product quality with the member in mind. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Drive the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminate waste, prepare for seasonal events affecting bakery volume such as holidays, graduations and family events, identify member needs, assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve member issues and concerns.
- Act as a brand advocate, value the member experience in the bakery, model high quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, assist in training, develop, influence and inspire them to work in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners. Identify priorities, deadlines and expectations, carry out tasks, communicate progress and information, determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapt to learning from change, difficulties and feedback.
- Respect the individual by embracing differences, building strong trusting relationships, and communicating with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence. Strengthen the team by helping develop and mentor others, and recognize contributions and accomplishments.

- 6 months’ experience in fresh production area.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
- Cake decorating experience.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00, meeting or exceeding the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.
