We are seeking a full-time Senior Machinist / Programmer to join our team at our facility in Mentor, OH. Day-to-day responsibilities would include setting up and programming CNC machines, operating CNC machines, and ensuring precision machining in accordance with industry standards. The Senior Machinist / Programmer will ensure quality standards are met, and collaborate with a team to optimize manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities also include troubleshooting machining issues, contributing to process improvements, and maintaining safety standards in all operations.
- Strong experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation
- Knowledge of precision machining, including grinding and EDM processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP requirements
- Proficiency in utilizing and maintaining machining tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in process optimization
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards in all machining and programming operations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in the aerospace, defense, or similar industries is a plus
- Technical or trade school certification in machining or related field preferred

Special consideration may be given to applicants willing to work 2nd shift.
