Summary:

Experienced Cutting Tools machinist of CNC 5 Axis Mills w/ Okuma OSP Controls

Medical / Dental / Eye are available day one.

401K eligible after 90 day Introductory period

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications and machining parameters in the cutting tool industry
Proficient in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing(GD&T), and shop mathematics in the cutting tool indusrty
Perform multiple set ups daily on CNC 5 Axis and mill machines
Can work independently and along side team to train or guide
Ability to know how to program
Inspect your own work utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
Ensures the daily production plan is executed and met
Troubleshooting to resolve complex technical, tooling, and fixture issues to improve efficiency
Track all work in process within department, ensure all materials are identified and traceable
Help employees regarding CNC machine setup, operation, malfunctions, etc.
Identify and communicate production issues in a timely manner
Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to jobs
Opportunity for growth in a leadership role within 2-3 years of demonstrating the understanding of the cutting tool industry

Education and/or
