Job Description

NDT Operator, X-ray (Level
1)

Location:

Mentor, Ohio

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

What You'll Do

* Inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with specifications

* Operate testing equipment to evaluate product quality

* Perform system capability checks and follow established procedures

* Accurately document work performed and maintain required records

* Handle materials, including hazardous waste, in compliance with safety standards

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

* Support inventory movement and storage management

* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

* Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

* High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)

* Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience

* Casting experience is a plus

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Reliable attendance and flexibility when needed

* Strong sense of urgency and accountability

* Positive attitude and clear communication skills

* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

* Willingness to learn and obtain Level 1 certification

* Ability to pass a visual acuity exam

* Comfort working under pressure and tight timelines
