Reports To

Reports directly to Ceramic Area Manager.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience.

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous casting experience is a plus.
• Must have experience with miscellaneous hand tools, tables, racks, boxes, safety guidelines, feeds, grinders, inspection tools, etc.

• Perform all aspects of running the robotic shell building system, including accessing the computer system to verify correct equipment operation and performing all aspects of the hand dipping system.

• Handle hazardous waste in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and company policy.
• Generate and analyze system reports.
• Identify molds, dip and sand, place molds in dehumidification room recording part number, time and quantity in log.
• Wash wax clusters and place on conveyor lines after inspection.
• Perform ceramic slurry testing as required.
• Mix ceramic slurries from supplied formula, clean sand beds and slurry tanks, maintain adequate supply levels.
• Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standards. Record all work performed, properly utilizing operational codes and correct current work time.
• Keep work area clean, orderly, and in safe condition, following all safety rules.
• Perform additional duties as designated by the supervisor.
• Scheduling and Excel experience are a bonus.
• Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
