Finishing Material Handler - Night Shift

Full-time position located in Painesville, Ohio. Reports to the Finishing Team Manager. Shift: 10:45 PM–6:45 AM, Monday–Friday.

• Move material to and from raw, work‑in‑process, finished goods, shipping, and receiving areas.
• Unload and load trucks with incoming and outgoing materials; verify materials against receiving/shipping documents.
• Complete proper transactions in the Inventory Management System to document material movement.
• Support inventory accuracy by completing warehouse and departmental cycle counts, correcting discrepancies, and managing winding drum and rack inventories.
• Pick up and transfer material, pallets, and consumable supplies between the raw/finishing warehouse and production areas; condense warehouse space and maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform all duties safely, following standard procedures and practices; encourage and report unsafe conditions.
• Continuously improve quality and productivity.
• Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed.
• Communicate and coordinate necessary information with department/shift employees to ensure effective operations.
• Lead recycling of pallets, cardboard, and scrap materials.
• Support daily 5S housekeeping activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Work overtime, including short‑notice requests, as required.

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

• Proficiency with computer applications, especially inventory tracking systems; strong transactional skills.
• Valid Lift Truck Operator’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
