Finisher Grinder TEMP TO PERM

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Finisher / Grinder to join our manufacturing team in Chardon, Ohio. This position is responsible for finishing, grinding, deburring, and polishing metal components to meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools and be committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Grind, deburr, polish, and finish metal parts according to specifications
• Remove excess material, sharp edges, weld splatter, and surface imperfections
• Operate grinders, sanders, belt sanders, die grinders, and other finishing equipment
• Inspect parts for defects and verify quality requirements are met
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production paperwork
• Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintain production standards while ensuring quality workmanship
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist with other production duties as assigned

• Previous grinding, deburring, finishing, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Basic blueprint reading and measuring skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good attendance and reliability required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
