Precision CNC Grinder Operator – 1st​/2nd Shift, Training

Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking a 1st or 2nd shift CNC Operator to join its team in Painesville, Ohio.

Hours:

1st shift, 2nd shift or split shift available.

Pay Range:
Starting at $20, based on experience, plus shift differential.

Your role will be to:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including loading materials, securing work pieces, selecting tooling, and ensuring machines run within required tolerances.
• Monitor machining processes, make program edits or machine adjustments as needed, and inspect machined parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, replace worn or defective tooling, and maintain tooling inventory, wheel usage records, and production documentation.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify part accuracy and document any changes to CNC programs or machining processes.

Minimum of a high school diploma and 1 year of manufacturing & CNC operator experience. Programming experience with G‑code is a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
