Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Extrusion Operator – 2nd Shift? Mentor, OH? $18.25/hour? Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM? Weekly Pay | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity We are hiring an Extrusion Operator for a busy manufacturing facility producing industrial brush products used in commercial cleaning, food service, and street sweeping equipment.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working around machinery in a production environment.

Responsibilities Set up and assist in operating extrusion production lines

Fill hoppers with plastic pellet material

Load and unload cylinders from machinery

Perform minor trimming using hand tools and utility knives

Use gauges and calipers to verify product measurements

Maintain production logs and document quality information

Package finished materials and prepare shipments

Set up water tanks, pullers, and saws according to production needs

Keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications

Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on ability

Comfortable using gauges, calipers, and measuring equipment

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. as needed

Able to stand for the duration of the shift

Strong attention to detail and safety

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
