EducationA high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience.

Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving. Have strong sense of urgency. Individual must be a motivated self‑starter with the ability to work independently. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co‑workers and supervisors.
WorkExperience
Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment. Previous casting experience is a plus. Must have experience with miscellaneous hand tools, tables, racks, boxes, safety guidelines, feeds, grinders, inspection tools, etc.
Principal Area of ResponsibilityInspect, test, sort, sample, or weigh processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. May use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
Specific Duties- Incumbent must handle hazardous waste in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and company policy.
- Perform wax X-ray and wax wall functions.
- Inspect wax walls.
- Record all data on supplied control charts.
- Record all work performed on daily time sheets.
- Keep the work area clean, orderly and in safe working condition.
- Observe all safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as designated by the supervisor.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co‑workers and supervisors.
- Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
- Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as listed.
- The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines.
- Must pass Jaeger vision test.
