Welder

Buyers Products Company, a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of welding and fabrication tasks, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, operate welding equipment, and contribute to the production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Maintain and repair all machinery.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat‑resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a welder
• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
• Outstanding attention to detail.

• A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Standing, Walking and Sitting for extended period of times
• Mobility and dexterity to move around operating machinery and powered industrial equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to operate power tools and vibrating equipment
• Ability to work on site to physically support manufacturing requirements
