Princeton Tool Inc is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills/lathes producing precision components for aerospace, defense, and industrial customers. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting tooling, loading programs, making offsets, inspecting parts with precision instruments, and maintaining tight tolerances. You'll collaborate with engineers and quality staff, document processes, and support continuous improvement in a clean, safety-focused environment.

Ideal candidates bring strong machining fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Load, edit, and verify CNC programs; make tool and offset adjustments
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
  • Maintain tight tolerances and document quality checks per procedures
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate on process improvements
  • Select and maintain tooling, fixtures, and work holding for efficient setups
  • Follow all safety, housekeeping, and 5
  • S/lean manufacturing practices
  • Work with engineering and quality teams to resolve nonconformances
  • Support continuous improvement, productivity, and on-time delivery goals
