Production Operator
Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking a skilled Production Operator for their 2nd Shift. The Production Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through a combination of assembly work and CNC machine operation. This position ensures products are manufactured according to quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements while maintaining efficiency and accuracy throughout the production process.
Pay: $16/hr + 5% Shift Premium
Hours:
Monday through Thursday 2:00pm-12:30am
Key Responsibilities
- Able to use equipment
- Hand tools
- Power tools
- Tape guns
- Inspect products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Visual inspection
- Process verification
- Must be able to use hands and arms manually when:
- Moving materials and products
- Handling and installing components
- Able to read and understand Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routers.
- Must know what components are, in relation to the Bill of Materials.
- Must be able to read assembly instructions to assemble product.
- Able to assemble product based on the Bill of Materials & other documentation
- Must be able to verify product with drawings (Where applicable)
- Must be able to verify product based on Work instructions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater.
- Must be able to learn and operator CNC machines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or CNC machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
