Critical Care Nurse in Mentor, OH

Provide expert critical care nursing in a demanding ICU environment with night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including every other weekend and holiday rotation. This contract opportunity requires flexibility to float across all inpatient areas at two medical centers, ensuring optimal patient care across ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and other inpatient areas.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2-3 in ICU and 1:4-6 in other units.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Adhere to established protocols and safety standards.
• Support floating assignments between ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units as required.

Qualifications / Desired

Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience.
• Proficiency in critical care nursing and patient assessment.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility to float across multiple inpatient departments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
