Join our high-performing Quality team as a 1st Shift Quality MRB Coordinator. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of quality systems, assist in managing non-conformance, scrap, and customer returns, and ensure all castings meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Quality Engineers in reviewing customer drawings, specifications, and requirements.
Perform audits to monitor product quality, including visual inspections of castings and paperwork audits.
Write and implement Quality Engineering Instructions (QEIs) and help maintain quality systems.
Assist in preparing and auditing shipment paperwork to meet customer standards.
Support manufacturing operations as needed to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Assist in the processing and accounting of non-conformance, scrap, and customer return material.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve quality issues.
Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
QualificationsMinimum 1 year of dimensional, visual, or NDT inspection experience; dimensional or visual inspection preferred.
Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality and quantity.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently.
Comfortable using a team approach to problem‑solving.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds on a routine basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Gain hands‑on experience with MRB processes, audits, and non‑conformance management.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
