Vector Technical's partner is an equipment manufacturer in the mobile food service industry.  They are looking for the right person to join their team as a Quality Control Supervisor.  The Quality Control Supervisor will develop, implement and manage quality systems designed to ensure continuous production of material and applications.

   Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional root cause investigations for significant customer, quality, supplier, and operational performance issues.

Lead company safety initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, promote safe work practices, and support compliance with applicable requirements.

Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service.

Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.

Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish the quality and reliability of the finished product.

Formulate, document and maintain quality standards and objectives.

Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the director of manufacturing to maximize production reliability and minimize cost. Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.

Provide and oversee inspection activities throughout the production cycle.

Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts.

Maintain an active role on internal continuous improvement teams.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree from a college or university in Engineering or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fabrication and assembly operations.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
American Society for Quality (ASQ) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, vendors, customers, and/or the general public.#IND
