• Provide member service and support.
• Maintain the checkout area and process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Resolve member issues and concerns and promote Sam’s Club products and services.
• Provide guidance on self‑service technology.
• Follow company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
• Follow proper procedures for handling merchandise and correct unsafe situations, reporting to facility management.
• Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
• Zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, and assist members with transporting items.
• Maintain paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; execute emergency response procedures; and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
• Assist with training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new program rollout training, and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
• Identify shrink and damages; comply with ethics and integrity policies using the Open Door Policy and supporting business processes.
• Complete work assignments and priorities, collaborate with managers and co‑workers, and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.

• Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
