Primary Responsibilities
- Respond electronically to all sales quotes that have not been followed up on.
- Manage and grow the surgical department business and accounts through 40-60 outbound calls per day.
- Generate new leads, qualify prospects, and convert opportunities into sales by upselling or/and cross selling.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, decision-makers, and key opinion leaders.
- Ask targeted questions to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare accurate, timely, and professional sales quotes, including relevant technical and clinical documentation. Once quote has been approved, place the order in order entry.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's product portfolio and its impact on clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
- Maintain high levels of product and industry knowledge to effectively educate and troubleshoot customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Sage, Spiro).
- Collaborate closely with field sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Plan, set up and attend trade shows and industry events as required.
- Gather and share customer feedback and market trends with internal teams.
- Minimum of three (3) years of inside sales experience, preferably in medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Sage or Spiro.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities.
- Ability to understand technical and clinical product information and explain it clearly to customers.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
- Knowledge of the medical device sales cycle and hospital/clinic purchasing processes.
- Experience selling Class I or Class II medical devices.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA regulations, and ISO compliance standards.

The physical demands of this position are representative of those that work in an office environment and set up events to include lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and carrying boxes and materials across distances and up and downstairs.
