Our residential Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems in residential homes. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that residential electrical systems are safe, efficient, and reliable.
Your Day-to-Day- Installs:
Perform residential electrical installations including panel upgrades, service replacements, dedicated circuits, EV chargers, lighting, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, generators, and whole-home surge protection systems. - Repairs:
Troubleshoot electrical issues such as malfunctioning outlets, flickering lights, or tripping circuit breakers. Diagnose the problem and repair or replace faulty components to ensure safety and functionality. - Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure that electrical systems are functioning properly and are up to code. Inspect wiring, test circuits, and replace worn-out parts. - Upgrades:
Upgrade electrical systems to accommodate additional appliances, lighting, or technology if needed. Install new circuits, upgrade panel boxes, or add surge protectors. - Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all electrical work meets safety standards and building codes to prevent hazards such as electrical fires, shocks, or short circuits. - Customer Service:
Communicate with homeowners to understand their electrical needs, provide estimates for projects, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- 3+ years of residential electrical experience, Journeyman license preferred but not required
- Hand tools
- Knowledge of MRC and NEC
- Ability to diagnose and fix complex problems
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and the ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and educating customers on all options
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver's License required
- Clear background check, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and drug screen
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
$30–35 per hour, plus commission
