Installation Technician (Loading Dock Doors) - Mentor, OH - JOB 26-00209 Pay Range: $24.00 - 30.00/HR Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits A company specializing in servicing and installing commercial docks and doors is seeking to hire a Service & Installation Technician. You will be working and installing specialized commercial and industrial doors and dock equipment on major projects. You will receive manufacturing and on the job training as well as mentoring to ensure that you are an expert in the field.

There are two openings;
Automatic Door Technician & Commercial & Industrial Door Technician. REQUIREMENTS Must have a good mechanical aptitude. Prefer candidates with experience troubleshooting, repairing, and/or installing commercial or residential door and/or dock equipment (2+ years) but willing to train someone with the right background. Welding skills with prior field service experience or electrical troubleshooting experience (2+ year). Good driving record. Most of the work will be in NE Ohio (Cleveland, Akron, Canton) After training they want this person to establish a remote tech team in the Akron/Canton area.

Able to lift to 75 lbs. and work outdoors. Must have own hand tools. All power tools will be provided by the company. Company vehicle is provided. Employees are paid for all travel time. Lead technicians drive the vehicle. Meet at the office and then travel to client sites to perform work. 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM This is an opportunity to learn PLC technology.
