We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support our night shift manufacturing operations in Mentor, Ohio. This role is critical to maintaining production efficiency by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment and automated systems.
The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical background, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and takes pride in solving complex equipment issues while maintaining a safe workplace.
What You’ll Do Equipment Maintenance & Repair- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain and repair vacuum furnaces, autoclaves, conveyors, wax presses, robotic cells, and related equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Perform maintenance and basic programming support for robotic systems.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements.
- Support production teams by ensuring equipment reliability and performance.
- Complete maintenance work involving pipe fitting, plumbing, welding, soldering, and fabrication.
- Operate maintenance equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.
- Assist with equipment repairs at vendor, supplier, customer, and other company facilities when required.
- Perform limited construction and installation projects as assigned.
- Handle hazardous waste materials in accordance with MSDS requirements and company policies.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and support 6S initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Electrical degree, certification, or technical training.
- 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Experience with vacuum furnace operation and repair.
- Knowledge of robotic maintenance and programming.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, and soldering.
- Experience supporting manufacturing production equipment in a team-based environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
- Able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
