Required Education
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Qualifications /Skills/Experience
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience with VFDs, PLCs, sensors, pumps, conveyors, and robotic systems
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
• Experience using CMMS software
Preferred Qualifications /Skills/Experience
• Experience in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing environments
Maintenance Technician Overview
• The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
• This role supports the reliability and performance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules.
• The technician performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance activities, equipment adjustments, and calibrations to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
• Working closely with production and engineering teams, the technician contributes to equipment reliability, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• This position also assists with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and ensures accurate maintenance documentation within the CMMS system.
• Adherence to all safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and company maintenance policies, is essential for success in this role.
Job Duties
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Conduct equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, and potential failures before they impact production
• Support equipment changeovers, adjustments, and calibrations to meet production needs
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation within the CMMS system
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems
• Adhere to all safety standards, LOTO procedures, and company maintenance policies
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
