Lead Loading Dock / Commercial & Industrial Door Technician
Client located in Mentor, OH – Seeking candidates in the Northeast Ohio area.
Pay: $24.00–$32.00/hour (based on experience)

Our client, located in Mentor, OH, is seeking an experienced Lead Loading Dock / Commercial & Industrial Door Technician to service customers in the Northeast Ohio area. This is a remote field-based position that involves leading installation and service crews while troubleshooting, repairing, and installing commercial loading dock equipment, automatic doors, overhead doors, high-speed doors, rolling steel doors, and related industrial equipment.
Responsibilities- Receive and complete daily service work orders
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment
- Install commercial and industrial doors and loading dock equipment
- Lead and supervise daily jobsite crews
- Ensure quality workmanship and excellent customer service
- Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned territory
- 4+ years of experience installing, repairing, or troubleshooting commercial or residential door and/or loading dock equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Welding experience and/or electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and on construction sites
- Ability to use ladders, lifts, and other access equipment
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening
