Your Schedule Enjoy consistent daytime hours:
Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.What Will You Work On?
Manual TIG (GTAW) welding of stainless steel and aluminum components in a high‑quality medical device setting.
Manual layout and surface prep to build accurate weldments.
Blueprint and welding symbol interpretation, plus travelers and work instructions.
Part positioning using fixtures, jigs, and other holding devices.
Dimensional verification with gauges and precision measuring tools.
Collaborative troubleshooting to resolve fabrication and fit‑up issues.
Adherence to rigorous quality standards throughout every step.
What Do You Need to Bring?
Must‑Haves High School Diploma or GED.
1+ year of welding experience (a completed certified welding program may satisfy this requirement).2+ years in a metal fabrication or machining environment.
Nice‑to‑Haves Formal vocational/technical welding training.
Experience with flux‑core, MIG, and stick processes; carbon steel exposure.
Capability to TIG weld stainless, mild steel, and aluminum using manual techniques.
Fluency in reading standard welding symbols and complex blueprints.
Competence with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement devices.
Strong math, troubleshooting, and basic computer skills.
Working knowledge of weld inspection and solid visual inspection ability.
