Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical unit night shift position requiring telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Work in a medical/surgical hospital unit,

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,

• Patient population may include those requiring telemetry monitoring,

• May be required to float within skill set onsite or to facilities within 40 miles,

• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required,

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required,

Job Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years recent med/surg experience required,

• Current BLS certification from AHA required,

• Telemetry experience required,

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred,

• Nursys and license verification within 30 days prior to start,

• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address,

Additional Information

• Must keep nails short and refrain from artificial or acrylic nails,

• May float to other units or nearby sites as needed based on skill set,

• Dress code adherence required,

• All positions have a radius rule for local candidates, with local rates applying if within the designated distance,

• Every other weekend and holiday coverage is expected,

• No COVID vaccination requirement,
