We’re hiring a Machine Operator, 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). In this role, you’ll contribute to the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by safely operating machines, performing setups and changeovers, and producing parts that meet precise specifications. You’ll be part of a workplace that values collaboration, accountability, and pride in what we build.
What You’ll DoHere’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Operate machining equipment including drill presses, lathes, mills, and CNC machines
- Perform machine setups and changeovers following established procedures
- Load parts, adjust tooling, and monitor machine performance
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Record quality data, complete scrap documentation, and report production issues
- Identify part defects and replace worn tooling as needed
- Track productivity and communicate downtime or shortages
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace using 6S practices
- Participate in continuous improvement and follow ISO procedures
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced operating CNC and machining equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read blueprints and follow work instructions accurately
- Skilled in basic machine setups and tooling adjustments
- Detail-oriented and capable of meeting production and quality standards
- Comfortable performing basic math for measurements and charting
- Able to document production data and communicate effectively across shifts
- Physically able to stand and work 85–100% of the shift
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
