We are seeking a passionate and reliable Bread Baker to join our artisan bread team. In this role, you will support the production of handcrafted, high-quality breads and rolls using traditional techniques and premium ingredients. • Assist in the preparation and baking of artisan breads and rolls.
• Scale, mix, shape, and proof doughs according to established formulas and schedules.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers.
• Follow fermentation timelines and dough‑handling techniques essential to artisan baking.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, food‑safe work environment.
• Assist with ingredient prep, mise en place, and end‑of‑day cleaning.
• Help with packing and labeling of baked goods for retail and wholesale.
• Uphold the bakery’s quality standards and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
• Basic math and computer skills
• Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create baked goods
• Ability to work in a hot, hectic environment; stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances; and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) for extended periods

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior high volume bread production experience
