TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a 13‑week assignment in Mequon, Wisconsin.

We are looking for Registered Nurses with at least one year of experience in a rehabilitation setting. Current BLS certification is required. You must be eligible for state licensure.
As an RN in a Rehabilitation Hospital, you will provide specialized care to patients recovering from serious illnesses, injuries, or surgeries and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care for neurological, orthopedic, or other rehabilitation needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the rehab team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Regularly assess patients' physical and mental condition, monitor vital signs, neurological function, and progress in therapy.
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and ensure proper dosage and timely delivery.
- Educate patients and families about recovery goals, rehabilitation techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to promote independence in daily activities.
- Respond to medical emergencies and act quickly to stabilize patients when needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Assist with discharge planning, ensuring patients and families are prepared for post‑discharge care.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers, and social workers.
- At least one year of experience as an RN in a rehabilitation setting.
- BLS certification required.
- Eligibility for state licensure.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods and perform bent, stooped, and lifting tasks with correct body mechanics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and skilled in promoting recovery and independence for patients.
