Job Summary
Performs primary nursing functions of assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency department to patients of all ages suffering from various types of illness or trauma. The RN serves as a professional role model by collaborating with clinical and front office staff, administration and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care is delivered to optimal patient outcomes.

Full‑time (60%) - Schedule:
Shift 3 – 1915 to 0715 with every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation. - Standard
Hours:
24.0 hours per week. - On‑site
A minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting is preferred.
EducationProfessional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
Licensure & Certifications- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi‑state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 30 days of hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months of hire.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within one year of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Course certification (TNCC) is preferred.
