Role Overview
Provides direct nursing care in emergency departments across multiple hospitals, implementing patient care plans, monitoring conditions, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Assesses patient needs and manages discharge planning to ensure quality care.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care following established protocols
- Implement, monitor, and document patient care
- Coordinate with healthcare team and execute physician orders
- Manage patient discharge processes
- Registered Nurse license (state or compact)
- Diploma from accredited nursing school
- At least one year of RN experience in acute care
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred; PALS optional
- Ability to assess and respond to patient needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts
