Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• • 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• • 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
• • Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• • Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• • This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• • Local & travel allowed.

Required Skills/

Experience:

Cardiac gtts (Primacor, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine), heparin, Lasix and insulin gtt; chest tubes; trachs; telemetry reading; wound care.

Unit Details: Patient population includes cath lab, amputations, pre-surgical, CHF, EP studies, afib and dysrhythmias, Coumadin loading, and cardiac-heart failure patients. Centralized telemetry monitoring with tele tech; phlebotomy assists with peripheral blood draws. Uses Alaris, Pyxis, and GE monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Up to 7 days of time off. Overtime only with manager approval. 1 summer and 1 winter holiday. Fatigue policy: cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12 hour shifts.

Floating Requirements: Float to all other inpatient areas within scope of practice; may rarely float to ICU for appropriate Med Surg patient assignments. ED Holding ratio: 1:4. Travelers float first. Can float at any time during shift to comparable floor acuity.

7 days maximum time off
