Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring telemetry background and NIH certification on a 13-week night shift assignment.

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Telemetry background required with ability to read telemetry strips
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Med/Surg unit setting
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses EPIC EMR
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rule
• RTO requests should be discussed with unit leadership approximately 45 days prior to assignment end date
