We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Product Evaluation Technician to join our Technical Services & Applications Engineering team. In this role, you’ll perform hands‑on product validation and material testing to ensure our flooring products meet internal specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
You’ll work in Mequon with specialized laboratory equipment, support product compliance initiatives, contribute to claims evaluation, and provide accurate data that helps drive quality and continual improvement across all our product platforms.
What You Will Do- Perform product and material testing to evaluate performance and ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
- Prepare and manage testing samples, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Document results, prepare reports, and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
- Support product claims evaluation with data‑driven testing and documentation.
- Operate and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment and ensure safety compliance.
- Contribute to technical projects, process improvements, and new testing technologies.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and data‑entry skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Clear communication skills and comfort working across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ASTM methods is a bonus.
- Associate degree or technical training in science, engineering, or materials technology (preferred).
The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $58,000/yr. and a yearly bonus potential. This range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
