Staff Secretary
Under general direction from assigned supervisor, the Staff Secretary performs a variety of secretarial/clerical support and receptionist duties, following established policies, procedures, routines, and methods. Assignments can be in instructional or administrative/business areas. Work is focused in the areas of skilled keyboarding and data entry, creation of spreadsheets and presentation graphics, receptionist duties, records maintenance, filing and retrieval of information and reports.
This position requires the ability to provide support with competencies such as the ability to carry out projects that involve research/gathering data and information from other departments and sites for reports and special studies.
Requirements / Qualifications

6) Unofficial college transcripts/degree (if applicable)
Education:
High School Diploma supplemented by one year of advanced secretarial training/coursework.
Experience:
Two years of experience in general clerical, secretarial, production keyboarding, or equivalent environment. Credentials and/or
Skills:
Valid CA driver's license and minimum amount of liability insurance required by law. DMV drivers printout required.
