Dental Assistant

Role: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) responsible for supporting the dentist in patient care, office, and laboratory tasks.

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment with urgency.
• Participate in delivering a positive patient experience by addressing individual needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment; prepare patients and support efficient, quality dental care.
• Perform x-rays and intra-oral photos under dentist’s guidance.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

• High school diploma or GED, with required state certifications/licensing.
• Relevant certifications such as radiograph exposure, coronal polish, ultrasonic scaling, or sealant application.
• Preferred:
  Associate degree or technical training, or equivalent experience.
