Williams Facility Inspector
Location:
Itinerant – Merced County.
Employment type:
Full and part‑time. Work year: 2026–2027 school year.
The Williams Inspector supports the County Office of Education in conducting school site visits required under the Williams settlement monitoring process. The inspector reviews assigned schools for compliance related to instructional materials sufficiency, facility conditions, and teacher assignment posting/documentation, as applicable. This position requires strong attention to detail, professional communication, accurate documentation, and a supportive compliance approach when working with school and district personnel.
Responsibilities- Conduct site visits and evaluate school compliance with instructional materials, facility conditions, and teacher assignment documentation.
- Document findings accurately and prepare reports for the County Office of Education.
- Communicate observations and recommendations to school and district personnel in a supportive manner.
- Must hold a valid California Teaching Credential.
- Complete an EdJoin application.
- Attach a current resume.
- Provide a copy of a Clear Administrative Services Credential.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.
Salary: $75.00 per hour (single rate). Williams visits run from August through September of the academic year.
