Job OverviewPosition under the general direction of the Dean of Allied Health, Child Development, Kinesiology and Public Safety. Part-time instructional assignment up to 10 units per semester, including evening and weekend hours. Responsible for integrating nursing principles into classroom and clinical instruction, and maintaining communication with clinical facilities.
Responsibilities- Provide instruction per course outlines and expectations.
- Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policy.
- Maintain required student attendance and scholastic records.
- Prepare and grade assignments and examinations.
- Post and maintain regular office hours.
- Participate in curriculum development and review.
- Develop teaching‑learning methods and materials.
- Serve on departmental, area, and campus professional activities/committees.
- Contribute to the college’s learning outcomes assessment program.
- Submit grades on time to admissions and records.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of professional experience; or Associate’s degree and six years of professional experience; or Master’s degree with professional experience.
- Professional experience must be directly related to the teaching assignment and completed within the last five years.
- Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) license required.
- Knowledge of culturally affirming DEIA and anti‑racist principles; ability to promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Current technology skills related to teaching in the discipline and willingness to adopt new technologies.

- Legible unofficial college transcripts.

- Foreign transcripts with U.S. evaluation if applicable.
