The School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts seeks a lecturer(s) to teach courses in Sociology during the Fall 2026 semester. Sample courses may include:
- Statistics for Sociology
Responsibilities include creating a syllabus, holding weekly office hours (2 hours per week), grading examinations and/or papers, and potentially holding discussion/lab sections or supervising a graduate student teaching assistant. This is a limited‑term appointment under the UC/ATU Faculty Agreement. Full‑time equivalency is defined as three courses in both Fall and Spring semesters; currently appointments are expected to be part‑time, though full‑time or part‑time positions may be available based on instructional needs.
Qualifications- Advanced degree and experience teaching at the college or university level.
- Must provide a record of excellence in teaching.

- Authorization to Release Information Form – As a condition of employment, finalists must disclose any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years that found them to have committed misconduct. Misconduct includes violations of policies or laws prohibiting sexual harassment, assault, or discrimination.
- Statement of Teaching – No more than 500 words, detailing how the applicant would approach teaching the courses they wish to teach and indicating subject area of interest.
