Salary Point 6 of $85,898; see Table 19 for the full salary range. Associate Instructors will not be appointed for more than 50% time during the Fall & Spring semesters.
Percent time: 25% - 50%
Anticipated start:

Spring 2027 – January 1, 2027
Position duration:
Up to one semester or a summer term.

The School of Engineering anticipates hiring Associate Instructors for lower- and upper-division courses for Academic Year 2026‑2027, including Summer Session 2026, in the following discipline:
- Electrical Engineering Fundamentals (courses may include:
Introduction to Materials, Statics and Dynamics, Circuit Theory, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Strength of Materials, Spatial Analysis, Information Systems, etc.)
Under the supervision of a faculty mentor, the Associate Instructor will lead instruction of a course. Additional duties may include grading, leading discussion sections when appropriate, and holding office hours.
Qualifications Basic qualificationsAssociate Instructors must have one year of Teaching Assistant experience.
