Teaching Assistant – Electrical Engineering – AY 26-27 (Includes Summer 2026)

• Title: Teaching Assistant
• Salary range: See Table 18 for the salary range for this position. Salary is based on an annual full‑time salary of $70,720.
• Percent time: 25% - 50% during the Fall & Spring semesters; up to 100% in summer session only.
• Anticipated start: Summer 2026 (May 17, 2026), Fall 2026 (August 15, 2026), Spring 2027 (January 1, 2027)
• Position duration: Up to one semester or a summer term.

The School of Engineering anticipates hiring Teaching Assistants for lower‑ and upper‑division courses for the Academic Year 2026‑2027, including Summer Session 2026, in the following disciplines:

• Electrical Engineering – courses may include Introduction to Materials, Statics and Dynamics, Circuit Theory, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Strength of Materials, Spatial Analysis, Information Systems, etc.
• Engineering Fundamentals – support as needed.

The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for grading, attending lectures, leading discussion sections when appropriate, and holding office hours.
