May 2026 | AY 2026/27, October 2026, January 2027

Position duration: 4-6 week assignment

The UC Merced Center for Educational Partnerships provides student, school, and parent-centered services that result in students having the greatest number of post-secondary choices from the widest array of options upon graduation.

Teachers will provide instruction in the following programs during AY :

• UC Scholars
• Talent Search
• Upward Bound
• Gateway Scholars
• Upward Bound Math & Science
• Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP)
• Bridging the Gap in Mathematics
• Other programs as determined

This is a limited-term appointment under the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Terms and conditions are subject to UC policy and the collective bargaining agreement.

Basic qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent international degree at the time of application plus a record of experience teaching mathematics and/or English Language Arts.

Preferred qualifications: Master’s Degree in English and/or Mathematics with a teaching credential preferred, in addition to K‑12 teaching experience.
