The Restorative Justice League & Education Consulting is seeking a dedicated Restorative Justice Specialist to support students, staff, administrators, and families in creating safe, inclusive, and positive school environments through restorative practices. In this position you will facilitate restorative circles, support conflict resolution mediations, participate in school wide RJ conferences, while promoting student engagement, social-emotional learning, and equitable discipline practices. The Specialist will collaborate with school and community partners, collect and analyze program data, and help identify and reduce racial disparities in school discipline.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, facilitation, organizational, and relationship-building skills, as well as knowledge of restorative justice, cultural competency, equity, and trauma-informed practices. This position requires work within an assigned school site and collaboration with other community sites. Successful completion of required trainings and a background check, and a commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students and school communities.
The Restorative Justice Specialist will serve school sites within the Los Banos Unified School District.
