Teaching Fellow
Salary RangeAnnual full‑time salary of $83,941. Teaching Fellows will not be appointed for more than 50% of time during the Fall & Spring semesters.
Percent Time25% – 50%
OR up to 100% in summer session only

Position DurationDuration may be up to one semester or a summer term
Position DescriptionThe School of Engineering anticipates hiring Teaching Fellows for lower‑ and upper‑division courses for Academic Year 2026‑2027, including Summer Session 2026, in the following disciplines:
- Electrical Engineering
- Engineering Fundamentals (courses may include the following:
Introduction to Materials, Statics and Dynamics, Circuit Theory, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Strength of Materials, Spatial Analysis, Information Systems, etc.)
Under supervision of a faculty member, the Teaching Fellow will be responsible for leading instruction of a course. Additional duties may include grading, leading discussion sections when appropriate, and holding office hours.
QualificationsTeaching Fellows must be advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D.
