Teaching Assistant in Bioengineering​/Engineering: AY , Includes Summer ; Anticipated

Position Overview

Position title: Teaching Assistant

Percent time: 25% - 50% or up to 100% in summer session only

Anticipated start: Summer 2026 – May 17, 2026
Fall 2026 – August 15, 2026
Spring 2027 – January 1, 2027

Position duration: Up to one semester or a summer term.

Salary range: See Table 18 for the salary range for this position. Salary is based on an annual full-time salary of $70,720. Teaching Assistants will not be appointed for more than 50% time during the Fall & Spring semesters.

The teaching assistant will be responsible for grading, attending lectures, leading discussion sections when appropriate and holding office hours.

• Bioengineering
• Engineering Fundamentals (courses may include:
  Introduction to Materials, Statics and Dynamics, Circuit Theory, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Strength of Materials, Spatial Analysis, Information Systems, etc.)
• Teaching lower- and upper-division courses for Academic Year , including Summer Session 2026.
